AI sales tools, grouped by the job they do
AI sales tools is a label stretched over at least five separate jobs, and the products underneath rarely compete with each other. One group runs outbound as an autonomous agent. One generates video. One sits in your calls and writes the notes. One dials numbers in parallel so reps talk instead of waiting. One adds research, copy and data to a sequence a human still owns. Buying across those groups by feature list is how stacks end up with three tools that each do a third of a job. The practical way to choose is to name the job first, then check three things. Where the work lands: does the tool send, or does it hand output to something else that sends? Where the data comes from: an owned database, your CRM, or a list you supply? And how it meters: per seat, per contact, per credit or per minute, because that decides what happens when volume doubles. Prices below are what each vendor published in August 2026 and they move often, so treat them as a starting point rather than a quote. Several vendors here publish no price at all and sell through a demo.
Software sold as a worker rather than a tool: it builds the list, writes the message, sends it and handles the reply.
Splits the work across two agents, Alice for outbound and Julian for inbound phone qualification, with Julian calling form submissions within 60 seconds. There is no price list and no self serve signup, so every evaluation runs through a live demo, checked August 2026.

Ava covers sourcing through booked meeting with contact data bundled in rather than bought separately, and keeps humans in control through approval modes, locked tone and banned phrases. All three tiers are scoped by leads contacted per month and route to a sales conversation, per their pricing page in August 2026.

The whole map
Browse the full directory: every GTM tool, with receipts.
In practice it covers five different products: agents that run outbound end to end, video tools that render a personalized clip, notetakers that transcribe and score calls, dialers that connect more conversations per hour, and sequencers or data platforms that use AI for research and copy. They are bought for different reasons and mostly sit side by side in a stack rather than replacing each other.
Several publish self serve entry points as of August 2026: Fathom, Fireflies, Otter.ai, tl;dv, Clay, Relevance AI, HeyGen, Synthesia and Tavus all list free plans, and Weezly, SalesRobot, lemlist, Grain, Avoma and Sendspark publish trials. 11x, Artisan, Nooks and Orum publish no prices and route every evaluation through a demo.
The range in this list runs from free notetaker tiers to five figure enterprise contracts. Per seat products cluster between $8 and $69 per user per month on annual billing, sending and video platforms sit between $37 and $99 per month at entry, and the AI SDR agents that publish anything start at $250 a month and climb to $2,500. All figures are as published in August 2026 and should be checked against the vendor's pricing page.
The vendors that promise it hardest are the ones that publish the least. Headline outcome figures such as more meetings per rep or higher positive reply rates in this set are the companies' own case study numbers, not independent measurements, and TechCrunch reported in March 2025 that 11x had displayed logos for companies that were not active customers. Treat the agent categories as something to pilot on a defined segment rather than a staffing decision.
One of these tools is ours.
Weezly is in this directory too: LinkedIn outreach with AI clone videos, a 300M+ leads database and booking, from $59 per month. See if it earns a spot in your stack.
