02The verdict

A veteran cold email tool with an unusually literal pricing model: you buy contacted prospects, everything else scales off that number, and most of the platform beyond sending is an add-on.

Best for

Small teams and lead gen agencies with predictable monthly prospect volumes who want email and cloud based LinkedIn steps in one sequence and are happy to buy the extras a la carte.

Not great for

Teams that want one all-inclusive price, since LinkedIn, agency tooling, extra warm-ups and even the integrations and API bundle are billed on top of the base meter.

04What it does

Woodpecker, in plain terms

Woodpecker is a Polish cold email tool that has been shipping since 2015 and now sells email and LinkedIn outreach on a single usage meter. Instead of plan tiers, you pick how many prospects you can contact per month and the price follows, starting at 7.00 USD per 100 contacted prospects and falling steeply at volume. That base number sets everything else: monthly sends are the contacted figure multiplied by 16, storage is multiplied by 4, and free warm-ups and Lead Finder credits scale with it. Unlimited team members, unlimited connected email accounts and catch-all verification through Bouncer are included at no charge. The sending layer covers inbox rotation, adaptive sending, email provider matching, human-like sending randomisation, a deliverability monitor, domain audits, condition based campaigns, A/B tests with up to five versions, a centralised inbox and AI detection of reply interest level. LinkedIn is an add-on at 29 USD per connected account per month and runs in the cloud, so invites, messages and profile visits continue when your computer is off, and steps can be mixed with email and calls in one sequence. The structure to understand is the add-on list: LinkedIn, the agency panel, white label, extra warm-ups, mailboxes, domains, dedicated servers and even integrations, API, webhooks and MCP are each billed on top of the base.

06Pros and cons

Pros

  • Pricing maps directly to the number of people you contact, with sends, storage, warm-ups and credits derived from that one number
  • Unlimited team members and unlimited connected email accounts at no extra cost, so seats never drive the bill
  • Free catch-all email verification through Bouncer, which removes a separate verification subscription
  • Cloud based LinkedIn steps that keep running when your computer is off, mixed into the same sequence as email and calls
  • Deep deliverability controls: adaptive sending, email provider matching, sending randomisation, deliverability monitor and domain audit
  • Their homepage displays a G2 rating of 4.5 out of 5, and the company has been shipping the product since 2015

Cons

  • The add-on list is long: LinkedIn at $29 per account, agency panel at $27 per client, white label at $5 per client, extra warm-ups at $5 and integrations, API, webhooks, MCP and CLI bundled at $20 per month
  • Contacting the same person from two campaigns counts twice against the meter, which inflates usage for teams running parallel plays
  • Exceeding the contacted prospect limit stops new sends until the limit renews or you upgrade, per their own FAQ
  • No mobile app and no native video steps are advertised
  • Customer counts differ across their own pages, 13,000+ on pricing and 15,000+ on the about page

Pricing is usage based rather than tiered. Their published pricing in August 2026 charges $7.00 per 100 contacted prospects per month at the entry level, falling to about $0.01 per 100 at the very top of the scale. The smallest published step is 500 contacted prospects at $35 per month, 4,000 at $99 and 25,000 at $395, with annual billing about 33 percent cheaper. Check their pricing page for current figures.

One person contacted inside one campaign in a month, however many follow-ups they receive. Their FAQ notes a campaign can run up to 12 steps and still count as one. Contacting the same person in two separate campaigns counts as two. Emails per month are calculated as contacted prospects multiplied by 16, and stored prospects as contacted prospects multiplied by 4.

There is a 14 day free trial, or 100 cold emails, whichever comes first, with all features included and no credit card required. Their FAQ says the trial can be extended on request through chat. There is no permanently free plan.

Yes, as an add-on at $29 per connected LinkedIn account per month. It is cloud based, so invites, messages and profile visits run even when your computer is off, and LinkedIn steps can be combined with email and call steps in one sequence.

Unlimited team members, unlimited connected email accounts, catch-all email verification through Bouncer, free warm-ups that scale with plan size and a starting allowance of Lead Finder credits. LinkedIn, the agency panel, white label, extra warm-ups, mailboxes, domains, dedicated servers and the integrations bundle covering API, webhooks, MCP and CLI are all billed as add-ons.

Weezly is in this directory too: LinkedIn outreach with AI clone videos, a 300M+ leads database and booking, from $59 per month. See if it earns a spot in your stack.
