Salesloft
EngagementSales engagement and revenue orchestration, now part of the combined Clari and Salesloft
Salesloft is the enterprise sales engagement platform that grew into revenue orchestration, and its future now runs through the combined Clari and Salesloft company rather than the standalone brand.
Best for
Mid market and enterprise sales organizations on Salesforce that want cadences, call coaching, deal management and forecasting from one vendor.
Not great for
Solo sellers and small teams, since there is no published price, no free plan and no trial, and the platform assumes a CRM led sales organization.

Salesloft, in plain terms
Salesloft is the other platform that defined sales engagement, founded in Atlanta in 2011 and built around Cadence, its sequencing engine. The platform now spans Cadence, Rhythm for next best action, Conversations for call recording and coaching, Deals, Analytics with a Command Center, Forecast, and Chat Agents carried over from Drift, which Salesloft acquired in February 2024. Conductor AI prioritizes work across the modules and AI agents sit inside each one, including AI Email Agents and Conversation Agents. Channels are call, text, email and third party integrations such as LinkedIn, and their channels page claims more than 200 integrations. There is a native iOS and Android app that mirrors the web experience, plus Salesloft Connect for Gmail and Outlook and a published API. Ownership has changed twice. Vista Equity Partners announced a strategic growth investment in December 2021 that valued Salesloft at $2.3 billion, and in August 2025 Salesloft and Clari announced a definitive merger agreement, with the combined company now operating as Clari and Salesloft under chief executive Steve Cox. Limitations are worth knowing. Prices are not published anywhere, there is no free plan or advertised trial, there is no owned contact database and no native video step, and the Drift platform suffered a widely reported security incident in August 2025 that affected hundreds of organizations through connected integrations.
Key features
- Cadence sequencing with automations and AI Email Agents
- Rhythm, which converts buyer signals into prioritized seller actions
- Conversations for call recording, transcription and coaching
- Deals and pipeline dashboard for opportunity management
- Forecast and AI Forecast for revenue calls
- Conductor AI for cross platform prioritization
- Drift chat agents, bionic chatbots and conversational landing pages
- Native iOS and Android app plus Salesloft Connect for Gmail and Outlook
Pros
- Cadence is a mature sequencing engine with automations, AI email agents and a Salesforce sync built for large teams
- Genuine breadth: sequencing, dialer, conversation intelligence, deals, analytics and forecasting in one platform
- Native iOS and Android app that mirrors the web app, so cadence steps can run from a phone
- Website chat and conversational landing pages included through Drift, acquired in February 2024
- More than 200 integrations claimed, plus a published API, an App Directory and a Partner Marketplace
- Merger with Clari puts forecasting and execution data under one roof, with joint releases already shipping
Cons
- No published pricing of any kind, so cost cannot be compared without a sales conversation
- No free plan and no advertised free trial
- No owned contact database, so prospect data comes from a separate vendor
- No native video step, video reaches a cadence through integrations such as Vidyard
- The August 2025 Drift security incident was reported to affect more than 700 organizations through connected integrations

Salesloft does not publish prices. Their pricing page is titled around packages designed for results and points buyers to a contact form and a 15 minute intro call, checked August 2026. Expect an annual contract quoted per seat and per module rather than a self serve checkout. Check their pricing page for current terms.
Neither is advertised. Evaluation runs through a demo request with their sales team as of August 2026.
Salesloft and Clari announced a definitive merger agreement on 7 August 2025, expected to close in fall 2025, describing a combined base of over 5,000 organizations and $10 trillion in annual revenue under management. Their newsroom then presented the combined company as Clari and Salesloft, with Steve Cox as chief executive, and the two product lines have since shipped joint releases including a forecasting and execution MCP server in April 2026.
In August 2025 Salesloft disclosed a security incident involving Drift, the conversational marketing platform it acquired in February 2024. Reporting by CyberScoop found the compromise extended across third party integrations and affected more than 700 organizations, with attackers retrieving OAuth tokens and API keys. The activity was attributed to a group tracked as UNC6395.
Not as a cloud LinkedIn sender. Their channels page describes call, text, email and third party integrations such as LinkedIn, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator and InMail appear in the integration list, so LinkedIn work happens through the integration rather than as automated sends from Salesloft.
