Nooks vs Orum
Nooks and Orum are AI parallel dialers for outbound sales teams, and neither publishes a price. A parallel dialer places calls on several lines at once and connects a rep only when a human answers, which is why both invest heavily in answer detection, number health and coaching around the phone. Orum stays close to that core: up to five lines on Launch and ten on Ascend, answer detection that distinguishes a human from a screener, a voicemail or a dial tree across more than twenty languages before connecting the rep in under half a second, caller ID pools from Vonage with daily spam monitoring, international calling, a Salesfloor for leaderboards and live listening, AI scorecards and roleplay, and Scout, a phone number ranking data agent acquired in July 2026. Nooks has grown outward from the dialer into an AI sales assistant platform, adding call coaching with roleplay bots, an AI prospecting assistant, multichannel sequencing across calls, email, SMS and social, buying signal tracking and contact enrichment with phone and email verification. Both sync with Salesforce, HubSpot and the major sequencers. The axis of choice is how much of the outbound motion you want the dialer vendor to own.

Nooks has grown from the dialer outward into sequencing, signals and prospecting, while Orum has stayed the dialing and coaching layer that sits beside your sequencer, and both are sold entirely by quote.
Pick Nooks if
- Pick Nooks if you want one system beyond the phone, since AI sequencing across calls, email, SMS and social, buying signals, an AI prospecting assistant and contact data enrichment sit alongside the dialer.
- Pick Nooks if coaching should not be a separate line item, since call transcription, scoring, leaderboards, a call library and roleplay practice bots are part of the platform, whereas Orum sells AI Coaching as a paid add-on on all plans.
- Pick Nooks if the stack is already set, with two way Salesforce and HubSpot sync, activity logging into Outreach, Salesloft and Groove and transcript syncing with Gong.
- Pick Nooks if connect rates depend on number health, since automatic number rotation, carrier registration and reputation monitoring are built into the dialer and verified mobile numbers are prioritized before dialing.
Pick Orum if
- Pick Orum if you want the dialing mechanics published, with up to 5 lines on Launch and 10 on Ascend, answer detection across more than 20 languages and connects in under half a second, while Nooks does not state how many simultaneous lines its dialer uses.
- Pick Orum if the team calls internationally, with 160 plus countries and regions on Ascend, plus caller ID pools sourced from Vonage with daily spam monitoring and 10 caller IDs per user per month on that tier.
- Pick Orum if phone number accuracy is the bottleneck, since Scout, acquired in July 2026, ranks numbers by the likelihood of reaching a specific prospect and writes results back to connected tools, alongside 200 enrichment credits per month on Ascend.
- Pick Orum if a security review is part of the purchase, given claimed SOC 2 Type 2 certification plus ISO 27001, 27701, 27017 and 27018, GDPR readiness and a public trust portal.

Nooks pros
- Parallel dialing with pickup detection in milliseconds, with claims of 5x more dials and 4x more conversations
- Number rotation, carrier registration and reputation monitoring built into the dialer
- Coaching stack that transcribes and scores real calls and runs roleplay practice bots
- Virtual salesfloor gives managers live listen in and whisper coaching for distributed teams
- Two way Salesforce and HubSpot sync, plus activity logging into Outreach, Salesloft and Groove
Nooks cons
- No public pricing at all, every plan runs through a custom quote (their pricing page, August 2026)
- Headline productivity figures such as 5x dials, 4x conversations and 40 percent faster ramp are the company's own claims
- No mobile app is advertised, and none was listed in the US App Store under their name in August 2026
- API access is not advertised on their product pages
Orum pros
- Parallel dialing on up to 10 lines with answer detection across more than 20 languages and connect times under half a second
- Caller ID pools sourced from Vonage with daily spam monitoring, plus voicemail drop and international calling across 160+ countries
- Coaching stack built on their claimed billion call dataset: automated scorecards, coaching portals, AI roleplay and a curated call library
- Salesfloor gives managers leaderboards and live listening, which suits distributed SDR teams
- Clean two way sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Gong and Apollo
Orum cons
- No published prices at all, both tiers sit behind a request pricing form (their pricing page, August 2026)
- Both tiers carry a three seat minimum, and AI Coaching and webhooks are separately priced add-ons
- Parallel dialing is capped at 5 lines on Launch, and international calling and enrichment credits are Ascend only
- Only six integrations are listed and no public API is advertised, so anything outside that list needs the webhooks add-on
Neither publishes a price, so cost cannot be compared without a sales conversation. The Nooks pricing page asks buyers to request a custom quote, checked August 2026, and the total depends on seat count and which modules you take across dialer, coaching, sequencing, signals and data enrichment. Orum lists two tiers, Launch and Ascend, both behind a request pricing form and both carrying a three seat minimum, and sells AI Coaching and webhooks as separately priced add-ons, checked August 2026. The practical difference for a small team is that the Orum quote has a seat floor built in, while Nooks does not publish one either way. Check both pricing pages.
Only partially, and neither publishes full terms. Orum's pricing page advertises a free trial limited to 500 dials and states that paid plans carry no dial limit, but the trial length, the signup flow and whether a credit card is required are not published as of August 2026. Nooks refers to teams starting a free trial in its Series B announcement, but no trial length, signup flow or card requirement is published on its pricing page as of August 2026.
Teams rarely run two parallel dialers side by side, since both occupy the rep's calling hour and both are quoted per seat. Both are instead built to sit beside the rest of the stack: Nooks syncs two way with Salesforce and HubSpot, logs activity into Outreach, Salesloft and Groove and syncs transcripts with Gong, while Orum syncs call activity, prospect details, outcomes and recordings with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Gong and Apollo. The real question is which one your sequencer and CRM should sit behind.
Orum publishes more about the dialing itself, including line counts, answer detection behaviour, international coverage, caller ID health and the Scout number ranking agent, but its integration list is short at six tools, no public API is advertised, and webhooks are an add-on, so anything outside that list needs one. Nooks covers more of the surrounding motion, with multichannel sequencing, buying signals, an AI prospecting assistant and waterfall enrichment with mobile number and email verification, but does not advertise API access on its product pages. Neither advertises a mobile app. Treat the headline productivity figures on both sides as vendor claims: Nooks publishes 5x more dials, 4x more conversations and 40 percent faster ramp, and Orum publishes ten times more dials and three times better connect rates with AI trained on more than 1 billion sales calls (claimed). On funding, Nooks reports more than $70 million raised including a $43 million Series B led by Kleiner Perkins in October 2024 and claims 1,000 plus customers (reported).
