Cognism
DataB2B sales intelligence with phone-verified mobile numbers and compliance screening
A compliance-first European data vendor whose real product is the phone number that actually rings the right person, sold on a quote rather than a price tag.
Best for
EMEA focused sales and revenue teams that need phone-verified mobile numbers and documented compliance screening more than they need a self-serve price.
Not great for
Small teams and solo sellers who need a credit card checkout and a published price, since every Cognism package routes through sales.

Cognism, in plain terms
Cognism is a B2B sales intelligence platform aimed at revenue teams selling into and across EMEA. It sells contact and company data, list building with filters, CRM enrichment for Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive, and a Data-as-a-Service option delivered by API or in bulk. Its flagship asset is Diamond Data, a set of mobile numbers that Cognism's research team has called to confirm the number reaches the right person. The company claims up to 3x higher connect rates on that verified subset, over 90% coverage of European decision makers, and 4,000+ revenue teams as customers. Compliance is a large part of the pitch: GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA alignment, phone numbers screened against 15 and counting do not call lists, and ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certifications, all as their own claims. The main friction for buyers is access. Cognism publishes no prices. The two packages, Standard and Pro, are quoted by their sales team and both include 5 seats, with credits metered as one credit per revealed contact and no charge to re-view a contact already revealed. One directory listing reports an entry point around $1,000 per month, which puts it above self-serve data tools. Reviewers rate it highly at 4.7 from 263 reviews on GetApp, while noting that data quality varies by region and niche and that records for smaller companies can be outdated.
Key features
- Diamond Data phone-verified mobile numbers with on-demand verification on Pro
- Sales intelligence workspace with filters, segmentation and recommended contacts
- CRM enrichment for Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Bullhorn and Microsoft Dynamics
- Bombora-powered buying intent plus hiring, job change and funding signals
- Data-as-a-Service by API or bulk delivery
- DNC and TPS screening with automatic suppression
- Chrome extension surfacing prospect details inside the CRM
Pros
- Diamond Data mobile numbers are called by a human before delivery, which is a materially different level of verification from a database lookup
- Compliance is documented rather than implied: DNC and TPS screening against 15 and counting lists, plus ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certification claims
- European and EMEA coverage is the stated focus, with over 90% coverage of European decision makers claimed
- Credits are not spent twice on the same contact, and reset only when that contact's details change
- Deep CRM and sales engagement integration, covering Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Bullhorn, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesloft and Outreach
- Rated 4.7 from 263 reviews on GetApp, with ease of use at 4.8 and customer support at 4.6
Cons
- No published pricing at all. Both packages and both add-ons are quote only, and one directory listing reports an entry point around $1,000 per month
- Both Standard and Pro bundle 5 seats, which sets a floor that small teams pay for whether they use it or not
- Reviewers report that data quality varies by region and niche, and that contact details for smaller companies can be outdated or missing
- Value for money is their lowest GetApp sub-score at 4.5, below ease of use at 4.8
- It supplies data rather than sending. Sequencing, inbox and follow-up all happen in a separate tool

What reviews praise
- Reviewers credit data accuracy and reliability for B2B prospecting, and rate ease of use at 4.8 out of 5
- Users report the CRM integrations, especially Salesforce and HubSpot, as a reason they keep it
- Reviewers describe the support team as responsive, rating customer support 4.6 out of 5
- Cognism's own case studies report a 20% to 40% average pipeline increase, which is a vendor claim rather than a review finding
What reviews flag
- Reviewers report that data quality varies by region and by industry niche
- Users report occasional outdated or missing contact details for smaller companies, and say manual verification is still sometimes needed
- Value for money is the lowest GetApp sub-score at 4.5, and the absence of published pricing makes budgeting harder before a sales call

Cognism does not publish prices. Their pricing page lists two packages, Standard and Pro, plus CRM Enrichment and Data-as-a-Service, and routes every one of them to a sales conversation. Both packages include 5 seats. One third party directory listing reports an entry point around $1,000 per month, checked August 2026, so treat that as an indication rather than a quote.
Diamond Data is Cognism's phone-verified mobile dataset. Rather than serving a number straight from the database, their research team calls it to confirm it reaches the person on the record. Cognism markets up to 3x the average connect rate on that verified subset, and offers on-demand verification of individual numbers on the Pro package.
One credit reveals one contact. Cognism states that re-viewing a contact you have already revealed does not cost another credit, and that a credit is only spent again when that contact's details change, for example after a job move. The same credits are used across prospecting, enrichment and the API.
Cognism markets GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA compliance, screens phone numbers against 15 and counting do not call lists with automatic suppression, and claims ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certification. Their privacy policy states that data is collected from correspondence, publicly available sources such as employment-oriented social networks, recruitment sites and company websites, and from third parties including customers and other data vendors. These are their own claims and disclosures.
No. Cognism supplies data, enrichment and signals, and integrates with sales engagement tools such as Salesloft and Outreach and with CRMs including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Bullhorn and Microsoft Dynamics. Sending and sequencing happen in whichever tool you connect it to.
